Jason believes a relationship is a vehicle for change and that a strong therapeutic alliance can lead to restoration and personal transformation. He aims to build rapport and trust that enables clients to share their stories without shame, fear, or hesitation. Jason recognizes the dignity that lies within each person and seeks to honor the unique personal, familial, and cultural backgrounds of every client. He is committed to being a source of hope and support amid life’s joys and challenges.

Jason enjoys counseling with teenagers, adults, and couples. He is adept at working with individuals and loved ones who experience anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, or personality disorders. Jason also likes to explore spiritual and interpersonal factors that impact day-to-day life. He is committed to fostering effective communication and healthy connections. Jason also specializes in the care of ministry leaders and their spouses.

Jason has a Master’s in Divinity from Covenant Seminary and is now completing his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the University of the Cumberlands. Jason currently serves in an intensive clinical environment after spending nearly 20 years providing pastoral counseling. Jason has lived in the state of Missouri for the majority of his life. He spent his teenage years in Colorado and a short period of his early adulthood in the Carolinas. He has an abiding love of creation and delights in hiking, fishing, and painting landscapes. Jason is a sports fanatic and binge-watcher of thought-provoking films and television. He is highly curious and able to find common interests with most people.
